From March 4 to 6, Elecnova participated in KEY Energy 2026, one of Southern Europe's most influential renewable energy exhibitions, held at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy.

 

 

Bringing together PV manufacturers, energy storage integrators, utilities, and project developers from Italy and across Southern Europe, the exhibition served as a key platform for exploring the latest technologies and market opportunities driven by Europe's accelerating energy transition.

Hybrid On/Off-grid Energy Storage Solution for C&I Applications

 

 

One of the highlights at the exhibition was the ECO-E261LP-2A liquid-cooled all-in-one ESS (125 kW / 261 kWh), which attracted significant attention from visitors.

Featuring pack-level liquid cooling with cell temperature differences maintained within 3°C, the system delivers more than 8,000 charge-discharge cycles for long-term operational reliability.

Certified to CEI 0-16 and CEI 0-21, the solution fully complies with Italy's grid connection requirements.

 

 

Paired with the STS Cabinet, the system supports parallel operation of multiple units and enables seamless switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes within 20 ms, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for critical loads.

Designed to address local grid instability, the 261 kWh + STS solution drew strong interest from Italian system integrators seeking flexible C&I backup power solutions.

418 kWh Liquid-Cooled ESS with Native 800 V PV Integration

 

 

Purpose-built for 800 V PV systems, the ECO-E418LP-A80 connects directly without requiring a step-up transformer, improving overall system efficiency while reducing equipment investment and conversion losses.

Key features include:

· Pack-level liquid cooling with ≤3°C cell temperature difference

· More than 8,000 life cycles 

· 0.5P charge/discharge rate 

· IP55 enclosure with C4 anti-corrosion protection 

Optimized for demand charge management and energy arbitrage, the system is engineered to withstand the high-temperature and high-humidity conditions commonly found in Mediterranean climates.

2.17 MWh Containerized Battery Energy Storage System

 

 

The 1 MW / 2.17 MWh NovaStack system adopts a standard 20-foot container design and supports direct 400 V grid connection without an additional transformer.

Its highly integrated architecture helps reduce logistics costs by up to 26%, while independent battery cluster management simplifies operation and maintenance.

The solution attracted considerable interest from utility-scale and industrial project developers, particularly regarding local grid compliance and certification progress.

5.015 MWh Liquid-Cooled Battery Container

 

 

Delivering 5.015 MWh of energy storage within a standard 20-foot container, the system combines high energy density with pack-level liquid cooling to maintain cell temperature differences within 3°C.

Designed for utility-scale PV-plus-storage plants, grid frequency regulation, peak shaving, and large energy storage hubs, the solution drew attention from large-scale project developers seeking to optimize land utilization through higher single-container capacity.
